The Royal Thai Ambassador to India, Pisan Manawapat has extended an official invitation to the Prince of Arcot—Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, to pay a visit to Thailand from September 8 to 11.
The Ambassador, in his letter addressed to the Prince, has urged him to speak on peace and harmony under the theme—‘The Role of Islam for Peace and Harmony in Multi-Cultural Society’ at the Thammasat University in Bangkok.
He said this would be of great interest to his policy makers, officials, and Muslim community leaders, as Thailand is determined to search for peace and harmony for the people in her southern most provinces bordering with Malaysia.
The audience will also include scholars, media as well as students of Islamic and Indian studies.
The Prince has expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador and has accepted his invitation to visit Thailand to speak on the occasion.
