Currently there are 60 Thai students studying at Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama under the institution’s scholarship programme. They came from all over Thailand. After graduation, many of the students will return home to become Islamic teachers and university professors for Islamic studies. Also, equipped with Arabic Urdu and English language skills, some started their career as Thai-Arabic interpreters at private hospitals and department stores in Bangkok. However, since the institution has not been duly recognised by the Indian government, the degree equivalence certificate cannot be obtained from government of Thailand.
Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama is an Islamic institution at Lucknow, India and renowned for its academic and perfect use of Arabic. Presently, there are around 2000 students.
