Relocation of the Consular Section

The Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi wishes to inform that, from 8 October 2018 onwards, the Consular Section of the Royal Thai Embassy will be relocated to a new address as follows:

The Embassy wishes to inform of the following information and guidelines:

Visa Application Service
– Tourist and Non Immigrant visa application submission and collection shall continue to be made only at authorized visa processing service companies.
Once the Royal Thai Embassy receives the application, it will take three (3) working days (not including date of submission date at the visa processing service company) to process and return the visa application. Applicants are strongly advised to submit applications at least seven (7) working days prior to their planned departures. Time lines to be applied are as follows:

– Please note that the time lines given above serve as a general guideline. The Embassy may require additional time to process some applications, especially when the documents submitted do not meet the guidelines announced and additional documents are required.
– Visa applications accepted by the authorized visa service company does not guarantee the granting of visas.
– The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right to reject any visa application without specifying any reason therein.
– The visa fee is non-refundable and the Embassy takes no responsibility for missed, cancelled or rescheduled flights and accommodation bookings.
– In addition, it should be noted that submission of falsified documents and/or signature/s are serious offences punishable by law. The Embassy shall take strict action against those found engaging in such offences.

Legalization and Attestation
– Applications for document legalization should be submitted to the Consular Counter Service between Monday – Friday during 09.00 – 11.00 hrs. (except on Embassy’s holidays).
– The document(s) will be ready for collection after 2 working days (not including date of submission) during 09.00 – 11.00 hrs. No appointment is required.
– However, for your convenience, please check the Embassy’s working hours and official holidays prior to submitting the applications.
