On 22 August 2023 H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to India, presided over the Amazing Thailand Luxury Roadshow to India and Networking Reception organise by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, New Delhi Office at Leela Palace Hotel. About 13 sellers from Thailand and 60 Indian buyers joined this event.

On her opening remarks, Ambassador mentioned the importance of Indian visitors towards the tourism and economic recoveries of Thailand after the COVID-19 pandemic. With almost 1 million Indian visitors travelling to Thailand in 2022, India became the second largest market source for the country. And in the first seven months of 2023, the number of Indian tourists visiting Thailand has reached more than 9 lakhs.

Ambassador Pattarat also highlighted the diverity of tourism assets that Thailand can offer for diffetent age groups and segment of visitors. Luxury travel is one of the various sectors that Thailand has provided to our friends with world-class services.
