Passport 
(The first passport/renewal of passport application)

1. A prior appointment is required.

• Making an appoitment by sending an email with a request with photos of a Thai ID Card, and a current passport to [email protected] or [email protected] 

2. Applicant shall appear at the Royal Thai Embassy 

• Minor applicants, under 20 years old, must be accompanied by a father and mother.

3. Fee 

• 3,000 INR for a 5-year passport
• 4,000 INR for a 10-year passport

4. Required documents

• Adult applicants (20 years old and over)
  • A current passport
  • A valid Thai ID card (original)
  • A Thai house registration
  • A copy of change name/surname certificate (if any)
• Minor applicants
  • A current passport
  • A valid Thai ID card (original)
  • A Thai house registration
  • A birth certificate (original or photocopy)
  • Parents’ marriage certificate (photocopy)
  • Parents’ valid national ID card or valid passport (original or photocopy)
  • An original consent letter issued by a district office (Thai national parents) or respective embassies in Thailand (foreign national parents) (in case either the father or mother cannot accompany their minor to the Embassy).
  • A death certificate (in case of either father or mother passed away).
  • A child custody form (for a Thai mother who has not registered her marriage but lives with the father of her child).

5. Passport collection

• By applicant
  • Original receipt (a photocopy or photo of the receipt is not accepted).
  • Applicant’s original Thai ID card.
• By representative
  • Original receipt (a photocopy or photo of the receipt is not accepted).
    Please fill in ALL information below the receipt: applicant’s name, representative’s name, contact number, and signed by both the applicant and representative.
  • A representative’s original national ID card.
  • Minor applicant’s birth certificate
