On 18 September 2024, H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to India, hosted a dinner in honour of Dr. Dileep Kumar Thimmappa, the recipient of the 2023 Princess Srinagarindra Award, due to his internationally recognized excellent contribution towards nursing and midwifery. The Embassy invited distinguished guests in the field of nursing and midwifery in honour of Dr. Thimmappa.

Dr. Thimmappa is a leading nurse with outstanding visions, commitment and dedication to nursing and the missions of the Indian Nursing Council for the past 49 years. His ardent endeavors have led to progress in nursing and midwifery education and services, as well as good well-being of the people.
