On 21 May 2024, Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to India, together with Officials from Team Thailand Office and the Royal Thai Embassy, received the visit to the Royal Thai Embassy by the venerable monks from Bhogal Buddha Vihar Temple and 22 novices who have been ordained under the temple’s summer ordination programme 2024. In this occasion, Ambassador gave welcoming speech and a brief information on the influence of Buddhism in the Thai-Indian relation and the ways of life of Thai people. Monks and novices have also received a special information lecture on the background of the Royal Thai Embassy’s building, Thailand and Thai-Indian relation as well as Buddhism in Thailand.
