On 19 September 2024 H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to India, and Team Thailand officially opened the Thai Pavilion at the World Food India 2024. This year the Royal Thai Embassy has participated in this event as the exhibitor and brought together 12 Thai entrepreneurs on food and food processing to showcase their products and connect with foreign and Indian business participants. The Embassy has received a collaboration from the Thai Trade Center, New Delhi in selecting potential entrepreneurs from Thailand to be part of the Thai Pavilion.

In the morning, Ambassador Pattarat also attended the inaugural session of the World Food India 2024 presided over by the Minister of Food Processing Industries and the Minister of Consumer Affairs.
