Subject: The Implementation of the new e-Legalization system by the Royal Thai Embassy, New Delhi

The Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi wishes to inform that the Embassy will implement the new e-Legalization system, replacing the current system using an official seal and handwritten signature, with effect from
1^st  October 2026.

Under the new system, a security sticker will be affixed to the legalized document. The sticker will bear the following security features including (1) Electronic signature (e-signature) of the authorized officer, printed directly on the sticker; (2) Hologram of the Embassy/Consulate General, incorporating security features designed to prevent forgery and unauthorized alteration; and (3) QR code, enabling applicants and relevant authorities to conveniently verify the authenticity of the legalization. The new security sticker is designed to be tamper-evident and difficult to remove without damaging the document, thereby providing an additional safeguard against forgery and unauthorized alteration.
