On 25-27 September 2024 H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to India, led the Indian business delegation from pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device sectors to visit Thailand to meet with the investment promotion agencies which are Board of Investment (BOI) and the Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EEC), including various potential Thai government and private sectors of the same industries.

Following the visit, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand also hosted the networking dinner in honour of the Indian delegation, where the delegation had a chance to meet with many Thai entrepreneurs including start-ups from medical and healthcare industries.

During the three-day visit, the Indian business delegation and Thai government and private sectors had a chance to exchange information on the development of medical products and to discuss about possible business opportunity and research cooperation.
