On 27-30 May 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy organised the visit to Thailand of Emerging and Young Entrepreneur of India by bringing 8 Indian entrepreneurs in food and food processing industries from various states across India to Thailand, nominated by the Asian Confluence and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). The visit aims to create network of emerging entrepreneurs between Thailand and India which will enable the business environment conducive to exchange of ideas and business connections.

During this 4-day visit, the Indian delegation had an opportunities to attend (1) the briefing session on Thailand-India relations and Thailand's economic outlook by Director of South Asian Affairs Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, (2) Thaifex Anuga Asia 2024, one of the largest exhibitions on food processing in Asia, and (3) networking session with Young Entrepreneur Chamber of Commerce of Thailand (YEC).

In addition, the delegation took study visits at (1) the Chang Hua Man Royal Project, the learning centre for agriculture, dairy and farming development in Phetchaburi province, (2) Amazon Inspiring Campus, the learning centre on coffee-related business in Ayutthaya province, (3) Or Tor Kor market (Marketing Organization for Farmers) in Bangkok, and (4) Grisrianthong Co. Ltd manufacturing freeze-dried machines for various food products located in Samut Sakhon province.

The delegation expressed their interest in expanding their business with the Thai side especially on importing some agricultural products from Thailand and established contacts with Thai entrepreneurs during the vistis at the Thaifex Anuga Asia and Or Tor Kor market.
