On 5 December 2025, Ms. Chavanart Thangsumphant, Ambassador of Thailand to India, welcomed Dr. Seree Nonthasoot, Chairperson of the Sustainable Arts and Crafts Institute of Thailand (SACIT), Assist. Prof. Anucha Thirakanont, Ph.D., Director, and their delegation at the Residence on the occasion of their visit to India.

 

The Ambassador discussed ways to promote Thai handicraft products in the Indian market and among the Indian public, as well as opportunities for knowledge exchange on handicrafts with various Indian sectors. Meanwhile, India places significant importance on advancing its domestic handicraft industry.
