On 13 June 2025, Ms. Kanokporn Kunnawattana, Chargée d’Affaires a.i., met with Ms. Kanta Singh, Acting Representative of UN Women in India, to discuss cooperation in promoting the rights of women. Ms. Kanta commended Thailand’s efforts in various aspects related to women, such as women’s leadership, the proportion of female diplomats and civil servants, and the promotion of women entrepreneurs—areas in which best practices could be shared with India.
