On 30 October 2025, the Embassy organized a merit-making ceremony (Thaksinanupathan) to dedicate merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother of Thailand on the occasion of the seventh day (Sattamawat) following Her Majesty’s passing. The ceremony featured a traditional altar with the Royal Portrait of Her Majesty and ceremonial offerings. H.E. Ms. Chavanart Thangsumphant, Ambassador of Thailand to India, along with the Heads of Team Thailand’s Offices, officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi, and their family members, have performed activities such as food offering to monks, Buddhist chanting, presentation of offerings (Sangkhadana), meditation, and one minute of silence to pay homage and dedicate merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
