Thailand as a partner country of the 8th Bengal Global Business Summit, Kolkata

On 5 February 2025 Mr. Thirapath Mongkolnavin, Charge d'Affaires a.i., together with the Consul General of Thailand in Kolkata and the Director of Thai Trade Center in New Delhi, opened the Thailand booth at the 8th Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) taken place in Kolkata during 5-6 February 2025. This year the Royal Thai Embassy has participated in this event as a partner country and, with a collaboration of the Thai Trade Center, brought together 3 Thai entrepreneurs from Thailand to showcase their products and connect with foreign and Indian business participants. Also, the representatives of two Thai companies investing in India, namely CPF and SCG, also attend the BGBS to see business opportunities in West Bengal.

Mr. Mongkolnavin also attended the inaugural session of the BGBS presided over by the Honorable Chief Minister of West Bengal, and also delivered a speech at the International Session on Thailand - India economic relations and opportunities of West Bengal for Thai business.
