Mr. Phanuwit Vejsamphan, First Secretary, the representative of Ms. Chavanart Thangsumphant, Ambassador of Thailand to India, participated in the Ordination Ceremony on The Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King's Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2025, and The Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty King Maka Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua Attaining the Same Age as His Majesty King Buddha Yodfa Chulalok the Great (Rama I) in 2025. This ceremony was held from 19–21 July 2025 at Royal Thai Monastery Bodhgaya and the Mahabodhi Temple Bodh Gaya, Bihar.

The Ceremonies, attended by a total of 221 devotees, were presided over by Ven. Phra Phromvajirabodhivong, the Most Venerable of the Royal Thai Monastery Bodhgaya, and Chief Ecclesiastical Ambassador to India-Nepal, as the monastic chair, and Ms. Yupha Taweewattanakitborvon, Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister of Thailand, as the layperson chair. In addition, Mrs. Siriporn Tantipanyatep, Consul-General, Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kolkata, along with officials from the Office of the Prime Minister, also participated in the ceremonies.
