On 30 December 2024, Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to India, and the embassy's officials attended a ceremony to present royal gifts from His Majesty the King of Thailand to monks from Royal Thai Monastery Bodhgaya and Buddhist devotees in the state of Bihar. The royal gifts were presented by Maj. Thanapun Thurapun, Director of the Royal Affairs Division, Inner Palace District, as a representative of His Majesty the King.
