On 23 June 2025, Phra Phrompacharayanmuni (Venerable Ajahn Jayasaro) was invited by the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi to deliver a Dhamma talk to Thai officials, members of the Team Thailand Offices, and Buddhist devotees residing in New Delhi, at the Royal Thai Embassy. On this occasion, Venerable Ajahn Jayasaro elaborated on various Dhamma principles applicable to daily life and professional conduct. He also engaged with the audience by answering questions during the session. Furthermore, he held discussions with the Embassy’s staff on advancing cooperation between Thailand and India in the field of Buddhism.

 

In September 2024, the Thailand Foundation presented the 2024 Public Diplomacy Award to Venerable Ajahn Jayasaro, in recognition of his significant role in preserving and promoting Thai Theravada Buddhism to the international community.
