On 26 August 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy, New Delhi, organised the reception in support of the re-appointment of H.E. Dr. Kamalinne Pinitpuvadol, Secretary-General of the Asian-African Consultative Organisation (AALCO). The Royal Thai Government approved the re-appointment of H.E. Dr. Kamalinne for a second term (2026-2029) as Secretary-General of AALCO.

In the event, H.E. Ms. Chavanart Thangsumphant, Ambassador of Thailand to India, presided over the Reception and gave speech highlighting Thailand’s importance and support rendered to AALCO as well as success of the AALCO under leadership of H.E. Dr. Kamalinne as well as expressing her trust that, under the continued and visionary leadership of H.E. Dr. Kamalinne, the work of AALCO will be met with success and efficiency.

Besides, on the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen Mother on 12 August 2025, the Embassy has invited the Heads/Representatives of the Diplomatic Missions, who attended event, to sign a well-wished book for Her Majesty as well.
