The Royal Thai Embassy brought a group of students and teachers from the Namaste Thailand Quiz 2025 project on a four-day study visit to Thailand.

From 21–24 August 2025, the Embassy, led by Mr. Jakarin Treedara, Second Secretary, accompanied the winning and runner-up teams of the Namaste Thailand Quiz 2025—Amity International School and Mount Abu Public School—on their educational trip to Thailand.

The visit provided participants with the opportunity to present their ideas on promoting Thailand–India relations to the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as to explore important landmarks such as the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles, Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Wat Phra Mahathat, and the Chao Sam Phraya National Museum, to learn about the deep-rooted historical, cultural, and spiritual ties between the two countries dating back to the Ayutthaya period.

The group also visited the EGAT Learning Center to learn about Thailand’s efforts in achieving energy security and advancing the use of clean energy.

This project marks the second consecutive year that the Embassy has organized this program, to provide Indian youth with firsthand experiences and a deeper understanding of Thailand.
